Kayla Luky grew up surrounded by country music in the rustic farmlands of Canada, something that has had a strong influence on her music, and that of her new album, to which the title Back To Dirt alludes. Describing her music as, “Too country for folk and too country for country!” Luky says, “I grew up on a farm and still live in a rural community, which allows me to have a unique lifestyle with a perspective that is less influenced by what’s going on in more urban centres.” says the singer and songwriter from Manitoba
